What You Want to Know About…

Booking:

We know how busy life can get…and that’s why we’re here to help! The earlier you book your party, the better! This will help to assure you receive the date, time and character you want most. If you are late in planning a party, we understand. The least amount of time we need to prepare is 2 weeks. This allows us enough time to customize your party, personalize and send out invitations, and allow adequate time for your guests to RSVP. There is a deposit required, depending on which package you choose.

Timeline:

Call us up and book the party. We’ll take the information we need for the party and charge your deposit.
Once you book, we’ll then send you two emails. The first email will include your party summary with all the information about your party. The second will be instructions on how to fill out your guest list.
Two weeks before the party you will receive the invitations in the mail. You and your guests will go online to the website included in the invitation where you’ll RSVP and choose your dress up for the party.
Three business days before the party, we’ll call you to confirm the final head count and charge the remaining balance.
One day before the party, your host will call you to introduce him/herself.
On the day of your party, your host will arrive and conduct the party.
One business day after the party, we will call you to follow up and see how the party went.

Payment/Tip:

We accept all major credit cards. When you book your party, we ask you pay a deposit to reserve your date. The balance of your payment is due 3-business day prior to your party.

We do not ask you to tip the host, nor do they expect it. Your party is already paid for! However, if you feel your host deserves something extra, we do not prohibit you from doing so.

Three business days before your party, we will contact you to confirm the final head count. Please note that you will be charged based on the RSVPs we receive. If a guest has not RSVP’d, we will assume they are coming and choose a dress up for them. You will be notified via email as each RSVP comes in. Our RSVP system is very accurate and children are very excited to get online and pick out their costumes!

When an additional guest (beyond 8 children) RSVPs “No”, they will be charged $5 for price of their invitation.

What You Should Know About…

Rescheduling & Cancellation:

We know you’ll want to book us early to ensure our availability but we also know that things can change in the meantime. If you need to postpone your party due to illness or emergency, we will help you reschedule. Because we have reserved that specific date and time for you, we do charge a $25 rescheduling fee to change your date. If Invitations have been sent out, please know that informing your guests of the change will be up to you. In case of inclement weather, please have a backup location to avoid disappointment.

Travel:

We will delightfully bring everything to your home or event center. We don’t charge any travel fees unless you are further than 30 miles from Draper (for hosts living in Salt Lake County) or Pleasant Grove (for host living in Utah County). For these outlying areas we do charge a small fee to cover costs and keep our package prices low. The charge is .50 per mile round trip beyond a 30 miles radius plus a $10 an hour travel fee. For example, if you are in Ogden and MapQuest shows your party is 60 miles from our Draper starting point location, the fee would be $30 for mileage and $10 for travel for a total of $40. Please inquire for specific travel fees.

Guests:

All packages are designed for 8 children but you are welcome to add more – up to 12. This includes the birthday child and any siblings you want to participate. For parties over 12 children, a second host/character is required to ensure things run smoothly and that each child receives adequate attention from the characters.
Children can wear our dress ups over their clothes. On Fashion Queen themed parties, children will be asked to wear a leotard or swimsuit under their clothes to make dressing up easier.
Our suggested ages are 3-8 but please ask if you need us to accommodate for ages outside of this range. We can serve boys and girls in any theme. We can even bring adult sized costumes. Just let us know. We are happy to customize any party.

Our Arrival:

Some parties require the host to come early and set up before starting. We prefer to be booked at the beginning of your party (if you’re party time is longer than our visit) so that we can set up before the guests arrive. We will bring the costumes that your guests chose when they RSVP’d along with a collection of other dress ups and/or props for activities and games. We will supply name tags to allow your host to interact personally with each child. We may also bring a large scene to supplement games and act as a backdrop for picture taking.

Facility:

The costumes and props we bring can greatly enhance your party atmosphere but we do not decorate. We will need enough space for the children to run, dance and play. The more space the better so we can stage our many pretend settings. A large family room is usually fine. We will inquire if there is electricity, a water source and a table available. We can supply these things or make do if needed.

What We’re NOT… (and why you’ll love us)

There for an “Appearance”:

We are all about the experience. We want your guests to get involved and enjoy the world of pretend as much as we do. At your party the kids won’t stand back and watch a song and dance, they will be a part of it all. Our host DOES come as a character to your party but may change identities throughout depending on the theme. She will charm the kids with her costume but engage them even more when she leads them through a world of make-believe. All kids have a little bit of princess or hero inside of them and why not celebrate it!

In Charge of Discipline:

Our host is focused on the birthday child and creating the best party possible. To do this she must spend her time showering the guests with attention and also maintaining the flow of the party. If there are children who are not participating or who require extra help (under the age of 3), please step in and attend to these children as needed. Your birthday child will receive all the benefits.

Responsible or Liable for Damage:

(And neither are you!) We will take care to make sure your home/facility is not disturbed during our visit but accidents do happen and we ask that you let us know if you foresee any problems as we cannot be held responsible for damage. On the other hand, we know that kids will be kids and that some damage may occur to our dress ups and props. We do not hold you responsible for this. In short, you are responsible for your items, we are responsible for ours.
